1996年 アルバム『The Gate Of Dreams』でユニバーサルジャパンよりソロ・デビュー。
以降ソロ名義で5枚のフルアルバム、2枚のコンピレーション作品をリリース。
アルバム2枚目『Into the Light』以降、 最新作に至るまで大編成ロンドンオーケストラ（LondonSymphony,LondonPhilharmony, Royal Phillharmony 60名以上）が毎回参加。
2001年4thアルバム『Pan-O-Rama』は、日本に先がけ韓国ではYANG BANG EAN名義でリリースされ、ニュー・エイジ・チャートのトップを飾り、ポップ・チャートの上位にもランキングされるという異例の現象が。
5thアルバムのタイトル曲『ECHOES』が韓国No.1企業『サムソン』の企業イメージソングとして 2005年から韓国全土でオンエアー。
2005年6月6日、ソウル最大のコンサートホール；セジョン文化会館（3500席）でワンマンライブ。
9月1日韓国チョンジュ市において世界初の世界遺産登録記念受賞式イベント前夜祭でワンマンコンサート。
2006年5月〜6月にかけて韓国地方都市3カ所＆ソウルセジョン文化会館で単独コンサート。
2007年4月映画「千年鶴」の映像ライブコンサートをソウルオリンピックホールで行う（参加ミュージシャン６０人(オーケストラ含）を超える最大規模のコンサート）。 In 1996, he made his solo debut with the album "The Gate Of Dreams" from Universal Japan.
Since then, he has released 5 full albums and 2 compilation works under his solo name.
From his second album "Into the Light" to his latest work, a large London orchestra (London Symphony, London Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic, over 60 members) has participated in every album.
His 4th album "Pan-O-Rama," released in 2001 under the name YANG BANG EAN in Korea prior to Japan, topped the New Age charts and ranked high on the Pop charts, an unusual phenomenon.
The title track of his 5th album, "ECHOES," has been aired throughout Korea as the corporate image song for Korea's No. 1 company, Samsung, since 2005.
On June 6, 2005, he held a solo concert at Sejong Cultural Center (3500 seats), Seoul's largest concert hall.
On September 1, he held a solo concert in Jeonju City, Korea, on the eve of the world's first World Heritage Site registration commemorative award ceremony event.
From May to June 2006, he held solo concerts in three regional cities in Korea and at Sejong Cultural Center in Seoul.
In April 2007, he held a live concert of the film "Cheonnyeonhak" at Seoul Olympic Hall (the largest concert with over 60 participating musicians, including the orchestra).

NHK-BS2制作 アニメ「彩雲国物語」（2006年4月より 2年間オンエアー）、アニメ英国恋物語「エマ２」の音楽担当。
韓国では2007年1月公開の劇場アニメ「ヨウビ」、4月公開の韓国の黒沢と称されるイムグォンテ監督の100作目「千年鶴」の音楽担当（ロンドンシンフォニーオーケストラ参加）。
千年鶴は韓国のアカデミーにあたる大鐘賞（テジョン賞）音楽部門にノミネートされる。
2007年9月よりオンエアーのKBSドキュメンタリースペシャル「茶馬古道」（一時間番組；6回）音楽担当、サントラも発売予定。
2007年11月スタートの韓国最大手オンラインゲーム会社 NCSOFTの 大作「AION」 全音楽担当＞ロンドンシンフォニ−70名とアビーロードスタジオにてセッション。
これ以降はソロ活動、映画、アニメ、ゲーム音楽、大規模なミュージカル等、更に活動の幅を広げる予定。

Music for NET EASE's new work "Tianxia 2" (a powerful 3D RPG game set in China), released (started) in 2007 (40 members of the Beijing Symphony Orchestra participated)
Music for the anime "Saiunkoku Monogatari" produced by NHK-BS2 (aired for 2 years from April 2006), and the anime "Emma 2" (British Love Story).
In Korea, he was in charge of the music for the animated film "Yobi" released in January 2007, and "Cheonnyeonhak," the 100th work of director Im Kwon-taek, who is called the Kurosawa of Korea, released in April (London Symphony Orchestra participated).
"Cheonnyeonhak" was nominated for the Grand Bell Award (Daejong Award) in the music category, which is the Korean Academy Awards.
Music for the KBS documentary special "Tea Horse Road" (one-hour program; 6 episodes) aired from September 2007, and the soundtrack is also scheduled to be released.
Music for "AION," a major work by NCSOFT, Korea's largest online game company, which started in November 2007. Session with 70 members of the London Symphony at Abbey Road Studios.
After this, he plans to further expand his activities to include solo activities, films, anime, game music, large-scale musicals, etc.
Won the 2007 Korean Association of Film Critics Award (Music Category).
