作編曲家Composer / Arranger
慶應義塾大学クラシカルギター・クラブ出身。
ヤマハ音楽振興会録音スタジオに勤務する傍ら、林雅彦氏に師事し、作編曲家を志す。
高木麻早「ひとりぼっちの部屋」の編曲でデビュー。
その後、編曲家として活躍を広げ、1975年「シクラメンのかほり」（布施明）をはじめとする作品で注目を集め、
翌1976年には「メランコリー」（梓みちよ）で2年連続となる日本レコード大賞・編曲賞を受賞。
以後もポピュラー音楽界の第一線で活動を続けており、作曲家・ミキシングエンジニアとしても意欲的に取り組んでいる。
Graduated from Keio University Classical Guitar Club.
While working at Yamaha Music Foundation's recording studio, he studied under Masahiko Hayashi and aspired to become a composer/arranger.
He debuted with the arrangement of Masa Takagi's "Hitoribocchi no Heya."
After that, he expanded his activities as an arranger, gaining attention with works such as Akira Fuse's "Cyclamen no Kaori" in 1975, and the following year, in 1976, he won the Japan Record Award for Best Arrangement for the second consecutive year with Michiyo Azusa's "Melancholy."
Since then, he has continued to be active on the forefront of the popular music scene, and is also actively working as a composer and mixing engineer.
