1959年、土浦市生まれ。高校時代にバンドを結成し、19歳でヤマハ主催のコンテストに応募。その際送ったデモ・テープをきっかけに、スタジオ・プレイヤーとして活動をスタート。84年に白井貴子＆CRAZY BOYSでソニーよりデビュー。同年にサザンと出会い、90年、「夢で逢いまSHOW」ツアーでサポートメンバーとして初参加以降、数多くのライブやレコーディングに参加している。
19歳の時に結成したバンドがきっかけとなりスタジオミュージシャンとしてプロの道に入る。ジャンルにとらわれず、作曲編曲、プロデュース、ピアノキーボードプレーヤーとして桑田佳祐、斎藤誠をはじめ様々なアーティストとのコラボレーションを展開している。 Born in Tsuchiura in 1959. He formed a band in high school and entered a Yamaha-sponsored contest at the age of 19. The demo tape he sent in at that time led him to start his career as a studio player. In 1984, he debuted from Sony with Takako Shirai & CRAZY BOYS. He met Southern All Stars in the same year, and since first participating as a support member on their "Yume de Aimasho" tour in 1990, he has participated in numerous live performances and recordings.
The band he formed at the age of 19 led him to a professional career as a studio musician. He is not bound by genre and has developed collaborations with various artists, including Keisuke Kuwata and Makoto Saito, as a composer, arranger, producer, and piano/keyboard player.
