広島県呉市出身。東京音楽大学作曲科芸術音楽コース卒業、同大学院修了。
在学中、作曲を池辺晋一郎氏に師事。
『機動戦士ガンダムMS IGLOO』で本格的に劇伴の世界に入る。
主な劇伴作品は、NHK マルチチャンネルドラマ『放送博物館☆危機一髪』、『特命戦隊ゴーバスターズ』、NHK「おかあさんといっしょ」りんちゃんコーナーBGM、アニメ『夢色パティシエール』、アニメ『クプ〜！まめゴマ』、アニメ『オオカミさんと七人の仲間たち』
『炎神戦隊ゴーオンジャー』、『機動戦士ガンダムMSIGLOO２』、アニメ『ブルードラゴン』『機動戦士ガンダムSEED C.E.73STARGAZER』、アニメ『ザ・サード蒼い瞳の少女』など。
また、NHK「おかあさんといっしょ」内にて、『ジューキーズこうじちゅう！』
『ハートがいっぱい』、NHK「いないいないばぁっ！」内にて『ハミガキマンさんじょう！』『ピコタンピコポン』などの歌作品の作曲や、オーケストラなどの様々な編曲など、劇伴以外の分野でも幅広く活動中。
Born in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture. Graduated from Tokyo College of Music, Composition Department, Artistic Music Course, and completed her graduate studies there.
During her studies, she studied composition under Shin-ichiro Ikebe.
She entered the world of incidental music in earnest with "Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO."
Her major incidental music works include the NHK multi-channel drama "Hoso Hakubutsukan Kiki Ippatsu," "Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters," BGM for the Rin-chan corner on NHK's "Okaasan to Issho," the anime "Yumeiro Patissiere," the anime "Kupu! Mamegoma," the anime "Okami-san and Her Seven Companions,"
"Engine Sentai Go-onger," "Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO 2," the anime "Blue Dragon," "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E. 73 STARGAZER," and the anime "The Third: The Girl with the Blue Eye."
She is also active in fields other than incidental music, composing songs such as "Jukeys Koji-chuu!" and "Heart ga Ippai" for NHK's "Okaasan to Issho," and "Hamigakiman Sanjo!" and "Pikotan Pikopon" for NHK's "Inai Inai Baa!," as well as various arrangements for orchestras and other ensembles.
