Kiyoko Ogino
作曲家・ピアノ奏者Composer / Pianist
東京藝術大学音楽学部作曲科卒業。舞台、映像等の音楽を中心に活動。
映画「ザ・マジックアワー」「ステキな金縛り」「清須会議」で第 32 回、 第35回、第37回 日本アカデミー賞優秀音楽賞受賞。
近年は三谷幸喜作品を多く手掛ける。舞台『コンフィダント・絆』('07)、 『国民の映画』('11)、『burst!』(’15/’22)、『ショーガール』(’14/’16/’18/’20)、『日本の歴史』(’19/’21)、『笑の大学』(’23)『蒙古が襲来』(’25)等に音楽担当として参加。

Graduated from the Department of Composition, Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts. Active primarily as a composer for stage productions and visual media.
Won the Excellence in Music Award at the 32nd, 35th, and 37th Japan Academy Film Prize for the films The Magic Hour, A Ghost of a Chance, and The Kiyosu Conference.
In recent years, has frequently collaborated on works by Kōki Mitani, serving as composer for stage productions including Confidant: Bonds (2007), The People’s Movie (2011), Burst! (2015/2022), Show Girl (2014/2016/2018/2020), History of Japan (2019/2021), The University of Laughter (2023), and The Mongols Are Coming (2025).
Other major composition credits include the Setagaya Public Theatre TRAM opening production Life in the Theatre (1997, directed by Makoto Satō); the staged reading Harold and Maude (2020–); the musicals Swan King (2022) and Colette (2025, both directed by G2); the musical drama Eleven Cats (2012); the musical Women of the Night (2022, directed by Keishi Nagatsuka); the films Yamato Takeru (1994, Toho), Recall (2018, Toho), and Let’s Talk About Suomi (2025, Toho); NHK Weather Information theme music (1995–2000); television dramas such as Nasake no Onna (2010, TV Asahi), The Man with the God Tongue (2016, TBS), NHK morning drama Jun to Ai (2012), Fūunji-tachi (2018, NHK), Kokichi’s Wife and Kokichi’s Wife 2 (2019 & 2021, NHK), and Hey, Dazai (2025, WOWOW); the radio drama Khan (2003, NHK-FM), which won the Grand Prize in the Radio Drama category at the Agency for Cultural Affairs Arts Festival; and commercials for Nippon Ham Schaub Essen, Sekisui Heim, NTT Docomo, and Nippon Life Insurance, among others. As a music director, received the Special Award in the 2009 Monthly Musical Best Ten Awards.
